    I'll take that bet.... i could believe it was him. People that install those for a living don't normally have it where the drain is outside the pan lip:laughing:

    What drain? I still have the pressure relief valve to do (it goes into copper around the back left and just had enough for today). The condensation drain tees with the pan drain and then tees into the water softener purge, which runs out to the driveway.

    The service drain connects to a hose when needed and the velocity would jump the pan either way

    The first time they let me drive one of our buses around the yard was an interesting experience that’s for sure. Attempting to steer a bus that’s 60 feet long, two stories, and had two axles that steered was… interesting.

    Man...when I helped my FIL install his weeks ago, we were hit with the "low emissions models" bullshit IE ultra low NOx :duh:

    They were significantly more expensive than out of state models, the same way catalytic converters are :bananadead:

    Meanwhile up here you can still buy one that runs on diesel mixed with whale blubber. WA don't joke around with keeping the utilities cheap at least

    I saw her driving down Main Street this weekend and waved, she had her middle finger in the air before my hand was down.

    :rofl::rofl:

    Tankless at the new place! Speaking of...you'd think I'd be excited since today's the final walk-through.

    Bad drivers can still fuck up your day however :mad:

    Only drivers worse than Californians? Chicagoans.

    I'm envious of the tankless setup, I might have to do the same when. I am going to slowly re-pipe this place with PEX, wanna get rid of the galvanized stuff and make a neater bank of water valves to turn areas on and off if they need service. Right now its an old fashioned cluster fuck of large galvanized pipes that I can never tell if are hot or cold or what they go to or come from.

    That's badass, to redo all your own pipe and all.

    Only experience I have with that is helping an old friend build a home theater setup in his basement (Illinois).

    Replaced all the old pipes to copper; all I did was help and take instruction.

    It's fun watching all the shit you guys do, like Danny having built his laundry room and more.
