    Maybe it's me. My wife always says it's me. But isn't P0355 and IGNITION code for the 5th cylinder?

    was a couple years ago now but I remember it saying crankshaft. Would have to scan again and see. But I have changed spark plugs since then maybe even twice

    Just Googling P0355 and Toyota brings up a lot of links essentially saying this (but I don't know if Taco codes are different). So it's a more direct code for the coil (versus 'misfire'):

    Remove both battery cables touch both together for a few seconds.

    74CCB4FC-C0D0-482A-8E68-8D249BF649F4.jpg Make sure you put a new ignition coil in cylinder 5 not cylinder 6. I changed the spark plugs and then deleted the CEL with a scanner. Problem never came back

    Predator tube steps, Ranch Hand grill guard, Magnaflow CatBack exhaust, Toyota tool box & bed mat, 2LO Module by @Up2NoGood, Rearview Compass/Temp Mirror, Tune by @JustDSM.
    P0355 means the ECM isn't receiving an ignition confirmation (IGF) signal from the #5 ignition coil, usually it will disable the fuel injector in that cylinder to protect the converter for the ignition cycle or until the fault clears.
