I just installed 16" Steel spare rims on my truck and need to find lugs that fit the rim better. Anyone have any suggestions?

You need acorn style for steel wheels. The alloy wheels use a shank style.

McGard makes solid steel lug nuts. Highly recommend them

For those curious. The mag lugs work on the OE Steel spare.

Take a look at one of the OE Mag lugs.
If you look close. You’ll see how they work:thumbsup:

The OEM shank lugs work for the steel spare temporarily. The walls are too thin for a permanent install.

Just for anyone referencing this thread to get the right lugs for steel spare wheels you need acorn style lugs. Mags are what was on it and should only be used for a short time until you can get acorns. I had mags on it after swapping out the rims and you can see immediately tell that they don't fit properly

After adding the mags I see that you were right. Acorns were the best fit
