Hey guys I am new to this group and looking for some experienced options. I am currently running a stock 2022 Tacoma trd sport M/T and am starting my overland build. I am putting a warn Winch on the front that is approximately 92lbs. I am planning on installing a high clearance bumper and have narrowed it down to 2 options. I am looking between a Road armour Hi-line pro and Backwoods Hi-lite. The question I have is about the weight. The backwoods bumper runs an aluminum shell with steel winch cradle with a total weight of 80lbs, 73lbs lighter than the Hi-Line. Is there anyone that has either one of these bumper does the weight cause a bad front end dip or does the Tacoma hold it ok?
essentially with my bumper and winch less the removed stock my net increase would be either 215lb vs 141lbs.
Would the extra 73lbs savings be worth an additional $1300(the hiline requires an additional winch/frame bracket and that brings it to the $1300)? I do plan on eventually getting a 3” lift and will be upgrading the front springs at that point but that is a few years away. Thanks in advance.

You should get the suspension first, then all that front bumper jazz. It will significantly affect the front end with that much weight on the stock gear.

I've got a Backwoods front bumper on mine. Replaced a Warn semi hidden. I couldn't tell a difference in front end dive. Stock coils, 5100s on 2nd or third notch. I'll throw a pic up in a minute.......
