Got a X2 24F. Got it on discount with a sale they're still having at batteriesplus. As mentioned if you go with a AGM battery it’s also wise to get a tune with AGM settings to have the alternator produce slightly higher voltage to keep a better charge on the battery as AGM’s like slightly higher voltages. This should be considered when looking at AGM batteries overall.Battery Upgrade.jpg

I'll stay with a deka when i need a battery. Pretty sure east penn manufactures them. I haven't found a better battery dollar for dollar.

interesting, I've never worked on anything that has an alternator adjustment. Learn something every day! (I'm getting old, I'd rather work on carbureted engines, a carburetor rebuild is 30min and not much $... all these electronic failures with modern vehicles are expensive as fk)

I have the SibiTune on my truck , If I go with an AGM battery will I have to get it adjusted?

From my understanding yes so you can get the battery to fully charge. I had the option of doing the AMG and adjusting the tune but chose not to. Didn't see the need for my use.
