    Bought my '02 Christmas 2012. 10 yrs old with 49,950 miles and immaculate. She cost me $16 grand in 2012 and I've never regretted it. 3.4L, 4WD, 5 speed. She has 275K on her now. I change the oil every 8K miles or so and have changed the timing belt/water pump twice. Starts every time I turn the key and has NEVER left me stranded. I plan to see 500K on her!

    I am looking at purchasing a 1996 Tacoma Xtra cab as a daily driver. As far as I'm aware the only thing that has been updated is one tire rod that snapped. What I'm wondering if I purchase the truck is there any maintenance that I should do immediately? Belts, plugs, ect? The truck has 215,000.

    1998 Xtracab SR5 5-speed ~240,000 mi. circa spring 2020. It couldn't compete with the serious scrappers but it was fun seeing how much it could haul with only ratchet straps.
