What did I do for my 3rd Gen Tacoma today?

    Easy.

Took a pic of it coated in Satan's yellow dust at work.

Lucky for me, being in Mississippi, I have no allergies.

    This ^^^^

They did a study for hydrogen fueled vehicles a while back. Turned out to be so much safer than gasoline fueled!
When gasoline tanks puncture the fuel drops down and (could) run under the vehicle. If it ignites then the truck is the steak on the grill.
When hydrogen tanks puncture, the fuel, being lighter than air, goes up. If it ignites then it burns above the truck like a torch used to hunt down Frankenstein. This propane should do the same.

Jerry cans full of gasoline on the rear -in a collision- might not be such a good thing.

(Before anyone throws the Hindenburg at me... that wasn't a hydrogen burn. The dirigible's envelope was covered with a special protective paint. That paint had the same chemical composition as rocket fuel. That was source for the burn.)

Wasnt sure how I would like them but installed the kjto door handle bowl lights last night. I really like the look and the accent. They show up a lot brighter in pictures than they are in person. The brightness is perfect with not being distracting or annoying while driving.

I did see that you have the same idea I do in regards to this. I recall that there is a bolt on the other side that holds it down. You have to take the headliner down in order to access it. But, it sounds like you actually damaged it and I don't know that it would help for you to go through all that work to find out that you can't do anything about it. My quick suggestion at this point (which I later read is the same as yours) is to do what I did as a preventive measure on mine. I taped off the surrounding area to make a clean line around the antenna and sealed the area holding down the antenna with a gasket maker. Just put a textbook down on top of the antenna to hold it down and basically "caulk" it down creating a seal like you do for tile work. Hope that helps.

TRD emblems, tinted windows, OEM running boards, AVS vent shades, RMAS upgrade, LED lights in front and rear, interior LED lighting upgrade, LED lighting in bed, touch control dash mount for LED lighting, auxillary 12v and USB jacks in bed, replace all speakers with Infinity, custom mod with Bose tweeters, TRD Pro illumination mod...
The door bowl lights were all the rave 2 years ago. I think they make a nice touch for subtle illumination in the Taco.

Yesterday the forecast called for rain so I further tempted the rain gods by washing the truck (it worked, rain came early this morning)

    upload_2022-3-29_22-56-58.jpg

Installed oem wipers, which made easy work of said rain. Now im ready to eventually use the blade refills I previously bought thinking I already had the oem wipers

    upload_2022-3-30_0-30-56.jpg

Also put some egg crate foam under the console cover so my pointy ass elbows can have more padding to jab into. Then added an ifak and Element fire extinguisher to the ol’ hex rack.

Thanks, they are the leather ones that are listed at $599 on their website. I thought 600 bucks was a lot for some seat covers, but when I installed them, I see why. I absolutely love these covers. (I also used a coupon code that is floating around this forum somewhere).

I just used my hands to install them lol. Not sure if any other methods. It wasn’t too bad… only took about 6 beers or 4 hours total. The headrests were impossible to do on my own, so I had to grab my wife to help buckle those while I pinched together. Other than that, it wasn’t too bad at all

i just realized you are probably asking if I took the seats out lol. I haven’t finished my coffee yet

I left the seats in the truck to install the covers. I rolled the tops inside out, about halfway up and they went on relatively smoothly. The bottoms are easy.
