Anyone ever come back to their vehicle to find doors locked but windows were left open? I'm well into my senior years and this happens to me occasionally. Gotta remember to close the windows. I'm sure I'm not the only one. There are window closers available that roll up windows one at a time every time doors are locked. I got one but don't know how to install. The wiring is beyond me. Has anyone had a go at this?

Doesn’t matter if you’re in your senior years Sir. We all forget things. Maybe have your partner remind you or write as sticky note and put it on your dash. I would not install some contraption that rolls my windows up or down for me. Good luck.

Sticky note on dash is my vote too.

OP, a simple switch (pin) added to the interior window frame tied in parallel to door lock unlock detection circuit.

This would just remind you to roll them up. You'd need to have vehicle ON since they ign input is what allows the windows to work.

Not sure if the Tacoma has it, but I've had other cars that will roll down the windows if you hold the lock (or maybe unlock) button on the key fob. It freaked me out the first time I walked out to my car and all the windows were down until I figured that out.

The unit I got was from Amazon for about $18. No brand name but says universal power window closer. Come for 2 or 4 or more windows. Mine was for 2, hence Access cab. Now I can't even find it. Might be a sign. Came with a wiring diagram but...Ya I use postit notes a lot but they look stupid in my truck.
