You may want to read in the terms of how they are spying on you and how it can be used to deny warranty (putting on my tinfoil hat)

 

On trucks with the DCM (2019+ if I remember correctly) mothership box - you unplug the DCM fuse and you lose the truck mic. The mic runs to mothership.
