I have keyless start too. I should have been more specific; I meant like a house door key.

 

I was driving from the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale to my home in Chandler (~30 miles) and my JBL radio head-unit rebooted no less than 50 times. Many of those reboots started in the middle of a prior reboot. I had the truck in the dealership a week prior to this for the same problem. They said there was an update that had to be done to correct it. Obviously that wasn't the case. Per my service writer he has a call into a Toyota engineer for help.

Any thoughts?

 

They may have botched the update if it was firmware. If it happens after another service I would demand a new head unit.

Same, I’ve had them on my last two trucks and have enjoyed having them for practicality. It’s nice to get to camp and everything is dry/clean. Considering doing a tonneau cover if part with the alu cab.

did you just glue these on the original knobs? I’m going to do this tonight but I might print up a knob to notch out for the cap grooves.

 

It's a challenge you may never win. I found out my wife went 2+ years without getting the oil changed in her car. I essentially now have to be in charge of all car maintenance (4 cars) or things get to the point where it gets expensive because regular maintenance wasn't done (brake pads getting so low they damaged the rotor).
