I have to remove and install the front drivers side flare. For those that have done this, do the orange and blue clips install on the fender or do they get attached to the flare? Any other tips would be appreciated, thanks. I’m guessing it’s best to leave the backing on the tape gasket until you have things somewhat lined up and then peel it off.

Buy extra clips before you get started. High likelihood of a few breaking in the process

I thought they should go on the flare, but the videos I’ve seen, show them being installed on the fender and then the flare snapping into
the clips. I purchased a whole set of clips for install, shouldn’t break any installing but possibly when pulling the old flare off. Do you leave the paper on the tape and pull it off after the flare is clipped on?

Yes, leave paper on tape, pull a tag from each end to remove after clipped on. Use hair dryer to heat, to ensure good bond.
