I still have the old Silva compass my parents gave me when I was a little kid. When we had our son I really wanted to instill that same joy for adventure. We set out to build this rig to get far out into the wild on solo trips while still being relatively comfortable with an infant. The first few times were pretty rough but at two years old, its starting to get a little easier. So far, with the exception of many alignments, I've done all the work myself. Lots of blood and sweat but its paying off.

    Current Setup:

    Living Systems

    AT Overland Habitat
    Casper Expedition Outfitters interior build
AT roof bars and awning brackets
    ARB Awning
ARB Zero 63qt Fridge w/ ARB slide
Dual 5gal water cans with pump
    Diesel Heater

    Suspension and Wheels
OME BP-51 remote res with adjustable rebound and compression
    OME HD leaf packs
    JB Offroad upper control arms
    Toyota TRD Baja wheels
Cooper Discoverer S/T Maxx 255/85/R16 (33” pizza cutters)

    Armor and Recovery
    ARB front bumper
Warn VR Evo 8000 winch w/ Lambtek disconnect
    Slee Offroad bolt on sliders
ARB air compressor in driver bed cubby

    Lighting and Electric
    ARB Solis lights
    X2 Group 27F Main Battery
Die Hard Group H8 secondary battery
    Redarc BCDC1225 Charge Controller
    Overland Equipped fuse panel mount
Blue Sea 6 terminal block under hood
Blue Sea 8 terminal block in bed

    Interior
    Husky floor liners
    AJT chrome delete
    Expedition Essentials 3TPAM
    MESO dual color led lights

    Misc
    ARB Safari snorkle
    Yotashop rear diff breather

Beautiful rig! Love the set up! You running your Baofang for HAM radio or just as a walkie? Those AT campers are sure growing on me…

Thank you, much appreciated. Just walkie talkie right now. My wife and most of the people I head out with dont have a HAM license. AT puts out an excellent product and they have great support. You have to get inside the camper to realize just how spacious it is.

Wondering if you had any write up or resources on your IPad/GPS set up? I have access to a backroads map here on an SD card and want to figure out how I might set that up in my truck...It sounds like you have something similar?
