No money, all went to truck...
I love this truck, love it.

I am 1500 miles in and finally the truck feels "broken in." The transmission and clutch really smoothed out and with me getting used to the truck, shifts are WAY smoother than the 2nd gen. Night and day. I can get it so you barely feel the shifting. The truck also likes to rev high, which is fun to drive.

Got the bakflip on and roof racks go on this weekend. Ordered the Sprint Booster and will give that a shot before trying to get it tuned.

I bought the pull pole for getting stuff out of the back of your truck. I thought it'd be stupid, but it's actually really handy. I used some boat hooks and for it installed on the bed rails.

Money is a little tight but next I think I'll get some side steps.

Adm is needed. Well worth the few beads of sweat that’ll break out of your skin. Everyone’s done it, it’s great, you’ll love it, it’s easier than it looks. It improves low end torque. I’m applying peer pressure here. But it’s true.

I know, I've been reading everything I can about it. It's a little out of my comfort zone. I'll keep hemming and hawing....

Get some flared wrenches, set aside some time, crack a brew, or bowl or not and get to it. In the end it’s actually really easy. It’s hard to get to, but I got all the screws back in place, much more easily than I had anticipated. This and the tune are the two best mods for drivability of a manual Tacoma.

head to your local Toyota expert and tell them to replace the accumulator with a hardline. done and done right by a pro!

or pony up a six pack and call on a HI local to do it for you. you don't need to do this yourself.
