    Hey not sure if anyone else has had any issues with the morimoto xb taillights for 3gen tacoma order from last year just received them this Tuesday and have them installed driving home today and one fell out check and found the the tabs had broken off went home check the next side and those tabs were also broken just lucky caught it in time the tabs are all crystallized cool lights though but these issue with the tabs

    whoa bummer that doesn't look good. is there a chance you overtightened them when installing(not that they should break if it happens)?

    hopefully you get taken care of where you purchased.

    The first thing was ensure that they didn't over tighten funny how the two of them break.

    thanks for sharing this, I think quite a few folks reporting the lights arriving already with broken tabs
    most here haven't got their lights yet, we'll see how MESO's batch fares soon

    I'm keeping my stage 1 just as backup

    This is what this forum is about sharing and I did not use a impact I use an 10mm ratchet spanner as the bolts were not tight just snug.hand tigh only

    It takes a lot to break the OEM tabs. Curious this broke so easily.

    Just curious, not accusing. I know a lot of people like the Milwaukee 1/4” drive impacts for light work.
