Painting Stock Rims Easy

Love my painted steelies. I painted them as a temp thing, but since I've done it I haven't been tempted at all to change them

 

Are the current [17 ] stock 16" wheels painted like the ones mentioned in this thread or are they dif finish??

Great write up. I started to follow your instructions, but chickened out in painting them and went with Duplicolor custom wrap. Like Plasti dip, it's removable incase I don't like it. They came out good, but not as pretty as yours.

 

I did the sand, primer, paint, clear method…it turned out pretty nice

 

They look good! May have to do this with my stock...
