Travir, we have seen those events from different perspectives. I had been released from active since the early days of the war, and was sensitive to events and public comment. Please re-read my previous post about red paint splashed on returning Vets, then consider whether the narrative has actually changed. Different perspectives, no fowl.

And I readily admitted that some vets had bad experiences at the hands of bad actors... but late in the war I traveled extensively in uniform and was never disrespected. Bad things happened, but they are being made to look like common practice now... and they weren't.

Good morning, all. Thunderstorms and a high in the low 70's today in the DC area.

Another lazy day. One load of towels, already in the dryer. Lots of guitar practice today. I am really trying to move from a beginner to intermediate level playing the guitar.

A little something every chance we get.
:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Peoples! Going to do a quick wiring side job for one of Carol's friends, then back to yard & garden stuff. Now that the wind has died down, might be a good day to light up a couple umbrellas!

Are we there yet, @ImpulseRed008 ?

    Top of the morning Porchatonians…

Decided to splurge and went to Harbor Freight.
Doing a lot of small engine stuff and spark plugs are always a issue so,
I went and got a spark plug cleaner.
Had one 30 years ago but became obsolete with the newer vehicles.
Works like it did back then too.
The worse spark plug I could find

So, I built a winch setup for my garden tractor/ snowblower. Don’t know if I posted pics. And my angle grinder has a broken slide switch lock. So I had to hold that switch on throughout every cutting step.
It’s been broken for years. Well, I had enough of that shit and got my self another one with a trigger switch. It’s also longer and lighter. Spent 10 min last night trying to find a piece of metal to test it out.
Seem to work pretty good and much more comfortable.
Think this weekend I’m going to unwrap the boat and see if I can wake the sleeping summer fun..
Always a crap shoot after sitting 6 months…
    Raining and cool again.
    It’s gotta break soon.
    Be safe all

Kurt, I have a roll up awning being delivered on Monday and would be interested in your lighting set up. The manufacture wanted $350 for a dimmable white LED add on. Not going to happen. For a lot less than that I can add a Phillips HUE RGB outdoor light strip set up.

CONGRATULATIONS!! Could not happen to a nicer person. Do you have a retirement trip planned?

So cute. Another one to spoil.

Heading over to HD this morning to buy some vinyl siding blocks, couple pieces of rebar, a 4X4, some hanging planter brackets, and some pellets for the Smoke Fire. Wash day for bedding today and lunch with my cousin and her husband. I have a few projects to do around the Ponderosa this weekend. LOL Everyone have a great Friday.
