    Hey everybody,

Having a hard time figuring it out on understanding the right travel for stock leaf springs and mount brackets. I understand that with stock leaf springs you get 8.5 max of travel. Does that mean that if I change the leaf pack to let’s say best of the best, the most droop, what would be the max travel disregarding the leaf springs and focusing on the mount placement where the shock goes. What would be the max travel rate before needing to change the location of the shocks?

Include the max travel of the shocks in the calculation. Subtract bump stops and limit straps (effects).

Not to figure out the travel but to see if that travel length shock will fit the stock shock mount. I know 8.5-9 you can get away with stock leafs but let’s say I get leafs enough for 14 in droop. But that’s my question I can’t have 14 in droop with stock mounts. What would be the max travel shock length before needing relocations

I may also be talking about the extended/collapsed travel fitment into stock mounts
