Promised @Pauhana I’d post pictures of the Recaro seats I bought from him for my truck. After a few weeks I can say they’re pretty damn comfortable.

Only thing that sucks is getting into them with the high bolsters and lift haha.

    2ABFD3E1-1CF1-4428-8E35-CFAF88E70C52.jpg

These could’ve been optioned with seat coolers and heaters but this didn’t have it. I did wire the driver seat height adjustment though, it’s motorized. Ran a wire from under the dash and used Delphi connectors.

The air bolster bulb was also broken so I stole one off a blood pressure monitor.

    They’re pretty sweet!

Oh that’s not a 4WD shift knob. I have the elusive and rare Manual-Automatic package.

I always like to ask people if they would like manual or automatic when they get into my truck. Most people don’t get the joke. Haha.

Dometic cfx3 35l. Can swing it in and out of the xtracab without removing the passenger seat and the seat can still slide and recline all the way back without contact.

I've been worried about my compression test results from about 6 months ago that didn't go so well. I have been watching head gasket replacement videos in preparation for the confirmation of bad news.

I went ahead and paid for the OTC compression test kit and tried it again with much more favorable results. (The other test was done with a no-name kit from Amazon). I'm feeling pretty good about the next 5 years with this truck! Oh, and this old truck is coming out of retirement and I'll be driving it again for work! 400K, here I come.

They came out of his truck. He bought them new almost 20 years ago. They’re Recaro Trend seats with Wedge Engineering brackets. Recaro has since discontinued them.

It seems a little suspicious that your first results were so low (way below spec), and now these results are radically different. I would expect to see compression in the 175-190 range, or even slightly lower for a truck with 300k miles, unless rings have been replaced, etc. 200+ psi is new-motor condition, I would have a hard time trusting those results either.

Can you repeat the test and get similar results?

I'm running the cfx 55im in my back seat. Fits nicely, I can open the lid fully and the capacity is good.

How do you have yours mounted? I was going to just ratchet a strap around the jump seat and the fridge and hope it's own weight keeps it in place.
Also, that's several inches deeper and taller than the 35. Can you still slide your passenger seat all the way back?
