Hey everyone I need some help.
I want to get new rims and tires for my trd off-road. My truck is at stock hight and I’m not ready to lift it quite yet. I do want slightly beefier tires with some sort of black rim. Anyone have any recommendations?

I believe 275/70/17 Falken WP on some TRD Pro SEMA Wheels would be ok ?

Ultraterrian ATs. Zero road noise and look awesome. Lifted mine w/ 5100s all around to achieve level and love it!

I ran Saucony shoes for years but my last pair I went to some Nikes with firmer rebound. I thought I would only use the Nikes to run a faster 5K but to my surprise my knees and all other parts seem to like the Nikes. I have reduced my distance, over the last year, to only 5K's and that is probably most of the improvement I've seen in my knees and other parts. I don't know if you were looking at running shoes? Dress shoes are out of my area of knowledge and casual shoes are, to me, what ever you fancy. Hope this helps.

I recommend New Balance or Brooks. Never had good experience with Nike. New Balance 860 have been the go too, Ive owned a couple generations of this model. Florsheim is a good comfortable shoe and priced well.

If you are going for the rugged AT look that you can use every day I would check out Garmont. They make a great selection, high quality and fair price.

    I have these right now

I run 265/70/17 on Sema Pros. I think the size you mention might lead to some rubbing...based only from memory when I was researching.

I was an avid believer in Saucony until I got into New Balance (I need wide tread). Since the days of Marathons, 1/2 Marathons, 5Ks and FunRuns are behind me, I’ve found a need for an off-road tread pattern. Honestly, the Merrell Moab 2 Ventilator has been my go to. INCREDIBLE performance and longevity in a wide platform has me giddyuppin’. I do experience a little rubbing, but it’s padded where that high spot is, so no issues or damage results. The extra support and firmness is worth the trade off.

I am running ART Replica 237's with Toyo Open County ATIII 265/70R17's. The rims are a 17×8 with a +5 offset in a Satin black. I am happy with the set up. I did have to remove the front mud flaps and trim the inner wheel arch for clearance. The offset pushed the tires out enough to cause clearance issues.

I also have a Eibach Pro-Truck Stage 2 kit installed as well...

What is up with the Nike Vaporfly? I'm kind of want to try them but feel it will be like cheating in my sprint triathlon series. I don't want to buy an age group podium.

OP, consider someone’s old shoes. I decided I liked the TSS wheels and the Nitto Terra Grappler 2s they ship them with.

Ah, the “Vibram Five Finger” of today… go for the AlphaFly, you’ll gain a whole leap year! Seriously, the body is the body… there’s no edge, until you start messing with rebounds. Fancy shoes just extend your “season”. Cross-country separates the survivors from the zombie food…

If your looking for the most aggressive A/T tire, then the upsized 265/75/16 Duratracs are your tire, no rubbing. When your ready for a 2/1" Lift, they still look good in there.

Aslo a $6 can of plasti dip is all you need to make your OEM rims black. I did mine in Camo.

Smart move buying the Off Road Josh.
