Today, I removed the grille lights, removed the shackles from the front bumper, re-painted the hitch skid, and replaced the square tube base on the Yakima swing daddy bike rack. :typing:

I have the same one. They sell a "skirt" (or sorts) to help protect it:

    https://www.roughcountry.com/cold-air-intake-pre-filter-10486.html

I recently cleaned mine for first time. Ever. And boy was it dirty. I'd recommend the skirt. Seems to have done a good job on keeping trash off of it.

Not that I have ever noticed. But now that you say it, I'll probably listen just out of curiosity. But if I ever notice it, I'll let ya know.

Custom, only one ever designed and built interiors, heavily welded frame, all sharp metal turned bed rack and a roof top I made for $75. Power pedal, injen intake system, cat delete, summit racing brake proportioning valve controlled on the fly, slightly adjusted or perhaps unrecognizable ECM, built in under bed storage, high clearance rear built with 1/4" on a 6011 1/8" rod at 120 amps, 360 degrees of led light, a PA and CB, on board air, on board propane (to cook food), on board fridge made from an old red bull fridge found on some guys man cave built into the storage cubby under the back seat, imported tranny and clutch from a good friend over in Europe to replace this aisin junk we get, combined 32 gallons fuel capacity, 18 5 gallons of water storage, built in gun locker under RTT, and all it cost was to hear the wife ramble on about upset neighbors at 2 in the morning every night since I bought that damn truck..
Alright, so as we can all agree that our trucks are pretty damn tough, they are powerless against someone trying to *correction* actively breaking in. Anybody who has followed along with my shenanigans knows I have few electrical devices in my truck, so the fob is no longer with us. Just a plain Jane key. Being said, locks are now powerless but still work just the same. In this moment of "fml", I now see an opportunity that I otherwise would not have done had someone not f***ed my door up. Silver lining, folks. To the welding station we go! Btw the lock cylinder was found tossed out in the grass and I have no clue where the handle went so now I gotta use my knife to get in.

Looks good. The Viair 2.5gallon tank fits above the spare if you want to get more capacity. I have a similar setup. It was super useful that my brother built a CNC machine last year and we have a 3D printer. I printed 2 parts that install inside the passenger side cubby and these parts have threaded brass inserts for the plate to bolt to. The plate is 1/8" aluminum that I painted black and had the CNC cut text out to make it look professional. Viair compressor bolted between the driver side bed and quarter panel. Boat water pump is directly under the bed. 5.5 gallon water tank comes from a hunting supply store in northern florida. Tank attaches with 2 wing nuts and slides into a bracket that was CNC cut.. Blue Sea Systems fuse block directly behind the plate, being fed from a 50A circuit breaker near the battery. Firestone airbags with a pneumatic switch.

I am thinking about creating a kit if there's enough demand.
