Folks, Just a quick write up on problems had and fixed. It actually took some time and a lot of frustration.
Problem: While adding some puddle lights we noticed that several things stopped working.

    - The garage door opener on a 2019 Taco wasn't powered, but the rear view mirror itself was.
    - Door locks were not powered while Taco was off, so the key fob didn't work. But when you turned the engine on, they were powered. Sensors for finger touch on the handles also did not work.
    - Windows had constant power to go up and down while the truck was turned off, which was pretty crazy.

Seems like something was reverse connected right? Nope. This diagnosis is the fault of a burnt out fuse. Similar to the way your cruise control won't work if you have a check engine light.

At this point, you should check the Engine Fuse Box for ECU fuse (10 amp) 1, 2, or 3 closet to the fender. It's an easy fix, but not the most straightforward way to find it.
