    We tested a nicely equipped version of the Santa Cruz, they're interesting. The electronics inside made my head boggle. So did the sticker price.

    I gues they are up there in price especially for what they are. Neve sat in one, and they are strange looking. Definitely better looking from the back.

    I say get creative.

    Start with a manual late 99's Corolla for dirt cheap. Sink $20k-$30k into the motor and suspension and keep it looking like a sleeper.
