I order bilsteins front shocks . I want to use the old springs on my truck I’m not going to lift much . Maybe set it to the first notch . I recently replaced my rear leaf springs with some Dayton heavy duty springs and new 5100 back there . That add about 2 to 3 inch of lift . My main question is am I going to have any issues with transfer case ? Is a transfer case drop necessary?

Probably not. I had Bilstein 5100 set on highest setting with OEM coils and I did not install the diff drop. I now have OME coils, using low setting on the shocks; still not using diff drop and still on OEM CV shafts, and have never had any vibration issues. But, others have, so go without it, and install one if you have vibration issues.

After you set the clip is it easy to change the height later on? I mean do you have to take it all apart agin?
