    I payed a guy $400 to spray the top of my fading clear coat cab (2012 DCLB) and he did a crappy job. Bad color match, orange peel and a drip.

    I need my hood sprayed…..Any leads near Orange County ca would be appreciated….Warren

    Check out the SoCal forum. Some dude in the I.E. posted about getting his roof (and then his whole truck) repainted not too long ago. Seemed like decent prices. You could reach out to him.

    Hey thanks…..I didn’t know there was a so cal forum. The guy that did my roof is in the IE….I hope it’s not the same guy….lol

    Good paint/body work isn't cheap :( The materials themselves are pretty expensive if you're using good stuff and that's something many don't factor in.

    If you can't find a good guy recommended here you can try calling your local dealer to find out who does the repairs for them. There aren't going to be show car paint shops but they'll be capable of doing quality work. Make sure you let them know what you want. Lots of times places think you're trying to save a buck and that cost is all you care about. They give you the rock bottom quote and then take shortcuts when they likely could have done a much better job if they'd known you were willing to pay a little more for better quality.
