    Good Morning group
I just purchased a 2017 after exchanging my 2010 Tacoma, great truck. There were less bells and whistles but great all the same.
My problem is since a few days my light for low pressure tires just came on and I no longer see the air pressure per tire in my screen. I requested that the garage remove the winter wheels and install my summer mags, which they did but they didn't update the screen as it was showing 21 lbs and after checking last night I have 40 which seems a bit high. I googled on they talk about a reset button in front of the left knee but I don't have that.
Hoping the group can help me out please. I have a 30 day warranty but outside of Montreal so about a 3 hour drive each way. BTW I bought my truck at a Hyundai dealer and perhaps didn't know about updating the screen. How are you enjoying your trucks?

Wait, you changed wheelsets? Did you transfer, clone, or reprogram the ECU for the TPMS sensors?

The little black button is just for rotating tires.

The person who had the truck before had 2 sets of wheels and tires, summer and snow so I presume all that was done as he took good care of his truck

There are generally two different ways to swap summer/winter wheels on these trucks. The 3rd gen is cantankerous when it comes to TPMS, it wants to look for the unique ID code of each sensor. There is only room for four sensors. If the sensor doesnt have one of the four ID codes that the truck is programmed to look for, they don't communicate.

So method one, which is a pain, is to know the id codes of all eight sensors, and with each wheel swap you plug your OBD cable into the ECU and reprogram those codes by hand. Tedious as all hell.

Method two is to buy aftermarket sensors for the winter set that "clone" the IDs of the summer set. The winter sensors impersonate the summers. Its easy to test if this is what the previous owner did, just push the black button. The truck picks up the new sensors and is fooled into thinking its just a rotation.

Method three of course is to keep the wheels and sensors and have the tire shop swap and balance tires every season. A fantastic way to ding up your wheels and piss off your tire shop.
