Selling my newly acquired S/C, came on a T100 I’ve been trying to buy from a buddy for a while. He had just had it powder coated red but in a rush, did not fully rebuild it. He test drove it, got boost but was still throwing knock sensor codes. He called me and offered the truck to me for what he paid for it. At the time he had 5 projects and 2 DD’s. He really wanted to clear his plate & he sold all the projects last month. I went & got the T100 that night & drove it home about 29 miles on the interstate. You could definitely feel the charge even though the truck was in knock sensor limp mode. I installed a stock plenum & now have the truck running smooth & I don’t think I’m going back with the charger, so here it is with parts to rebuild. He said he only changed the rear 2 bearings and coupler as he was in a hurry to move the truck out his driveway. Here’s the pics, I’ll answer all the questions I can with what little I know of S/C’s.
$2,200 shipped only in the 48 contiguous US, thanks!

    Still available?

What was the reason for changing bearings?

Still available, yes. Have not had time to cross post this yet. Been busy with a sick Father, anyways.
A full rebuild would require changing all the interior bearings, as you can see in the pics, he was in a hurry and left quite a few out of his quick rebuild. Also, he never touched the knock sensor issue so the truck was running in limp mode when I got it. Last weekend, I changed IAC, knock sensors, spark plugs, replaced gaskets and cleaned MAF and throttle body and put the truck back together stock. Runs well enough that I probably won’t mess with putting the S/C back on as the truck needs bushings, seals on the front, brakes, shocks, tires. I’ve got a lot to do before jumping any dunes, haha so I think I’m just going to sell the chargrilled help pay for the above catch up maintenance, please let me know if you have any additional questions though!

One more question. Do you have any clue how many miles are on the charger?

Man, I don’t. The truck has about $180k. I doubt it was on since new but I really don’t know that for sure. I have a couple videos of it running the one day I drove it with the charger on. The whole truck was in limp mode due to those knock sensors so I knew I was about to tear into it. My plan was to get the charger off so I could make sure the truck ran good on it’s own first, then I’d probably put it back on but now that I almost have the truck tuned back stock, I do think I’ll mess with it. I wouldn’t be too afraid of age bc all the inside pieces seem to be replaceable. It was definitely boosting even with the truck in limp mode though.
