Looking for a shop to install Cali Raised bolt on rock sliders near Forsyth or Gwinnett County. I’m in Johns Creek on the Duluth side.

Looks fairly straightforward, but I don’t have a second set of hands.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

If you are going to go that far, just go to Toyotechs off Peachtree Industrial. Alternatively, just get a couple jackstands and DIY, you'll need them eventually anyway and it's cheaper than even 1 hour at a shop's rate.

That might work out perfect, and I appreciate the invite! Already waited a couple months for the sliders to get here…what’s another month.

Looking to get tuned as well, and read that Richard might be there. Might be able to kill several birds with one stone.

    Thanks!

Do you have some jack stands, some blocks of wood and a jack? If so, those will allow you to install your sliders by yourself.

That’s my issue. Had a nice floor jack and jack stands when I had my last Tacoma, but got rid of them when I sold it. Looks like I just need to go out and buy again. Should be doing it myself anyway.

Just figured if there was a shop nearby that was familiar it might save the hassle.

With a floor jack, jack stands, and wood you should be able to get your sliders on in under 2 hours assuming you don't have to drill the frame anywhere. Plus if you plan to do any of your own work at all in the future, then yeah, you should probably go pick up these thing again to have. Most likely the price of all these even on the cheaper side will be more than the cost of a shop to install the sliders but at least you will have them to use later.

If you want to come over to my place in Snellville, let me know. Would be glad to do it and have the tools.

Man, that’s way too nice of you to offer. If you’re serious, and don’t mind, I’d certainly take you up on that. Just let me know what you’re schedule looks like, and what you’d charge. Think I’m only about 45 minutes or an hour away from you so not too far for me to travel.

labor rates and markup are ridiculous right now. Definitely go w/ a mod day or do it yourself.

I'm an insurance adjuster and literally dealt w/ a shop last week that was charging a customer on aftermarket shocks TWICE the price of what OEM would cost them on their 2020 Terrain.

If you saw a gray tacoma with a shell parked at his neighbor's house on Sunday after noon that was my truck haha.
