I'm considering a victory 4x4 blitz because I don't want to cut (much if at all) and I'm not going crazy enough to need a full replacement. As such, I'm considering an aluminum bumper to save on weight for when I add a winch. The winch might take awhile because I have no immediate need for it. That being said, despite popular statements, in the PNW bumper replacements are good not just for winches, but also shopping carts, recovery, and deer! Does anyone have a reasonable understanding of whether aluminum will hold up to smashing into a deer (by accident, not for fun)?

Alright last bump for essentially wanting to know if an aluminum bumper, no doubt softer than steel, will still hold up to things like wildlife and fender benders.
