OP, let's go a different route.

Can you please itemize what YOU think it actually costs a company to build a set of UCAs, what they should sell for, and what kind of profit is reasonable.

    We'll start there.

kibbetechs are badass!! But they ship direct from top tier so don’t know what the implications of that are

I'll even give him a hint and remind him to include fixed and variable overhead rates to account for building rent, health benefits, utility bills, etc.

That rate should be in the ballpark of 3-600% of hourly wage rate depending on how bougie your shop is.

lol they don't make any difference - you could put anything between the connecting points and get the same results. Lowers are stout on Tacomas - show me how they're prone to pattern failure and I'll be quite surprised. The only reason most guys need UCA's is so they can get 33's to fit w/ basic alignment.

Likely that top tier has shipping lanes setup already. Logistics is what makes or breaks shops, so if someone is willing to do it for you, even better.

You are not wrong. I went with the pretty milled aluminum ICONs just to be different.

Imagine comparing some metal tubes welded together to stop rock damage to suspension components that need to be built with extreme precision. Friday is tomorrow OP!

And yet that 12 year old girl in China welding these UCAs up in her shed, will do a better job than you, bro!

You are the whiner of all things UCA. It's your story. I'm just playing along hoping you come to your senses, or go show me you have the knowledge and ability to undercut these thieving price gouging companies out there.

    Snowflake?

Yup, I paid top dollar for something that I absolutely didn't need to. I could have ran tubular just as easily. I am not hiding that fact from you, the internet, or my wife.

Am I complaining about it? Nope!
    It's just money and parts.

Oh, and they look fantastic! :bananadance:

I'm not sure if anyone is aware, but Friday is tomorrow. This thread is two days too early. It's obvious that the OP is convinced he is correct on the matter and will only provide single sentence responses to keep the entertainment coming. That doesn't mean he understands business and apparently doesn't appreciate businesses pursing their main objective of generating revenue.

As you were though. Keep trying to argue.

These kinds of threads are always enjoyed in the morning with a nice hot cup of coffee, fresh avocado toast, and a side of scrambled eggs with salsa and queso cotija cheese sprinkled on top.
