Yes I know. But the ones I posted are usually the older bushing and ball joint.

Yea that being said i think SPC are priced appropriately considering inflation pandemic and new design.

At the end of the day the price of something really is determined by what others are willing to pay so obviously ppl are paying those prices. I think the $600-$800 seems about right for a pair of aftermarket CA that arnt like ebay UCA. Any higher and you get into a specific market type crowd.

Labor costs are actually the biggest liability and cost in running a business so its far from a mute point. Especially if you get a good welder. SPC and chinese knockoffs aside all other big names are made in USA.

Nope. Just watched my Jeep buddy have all his RC crap fail within a few years. Shitty bushings, ball joints, leaking shocks, harsh ride. There is a reason they are so cheap. They use the cheapest components available on the market.

probably true but the point i was making is there are offerings at 270- 800 dollars for someone who is looking for a set. If someone needs a pair to correct geometry and doesnt have the money to spend then it satisfies a need.

In 2008 Total chaos uca's were like 600/700 for my xrerra. So to me, prices havent changed much.

You COULD spend your time and money and make your own, but by the time you learned skills, bought tools, and after you made 30 shitty prototypes, you are going to be in a deep ass hole. Pun intended.

only for DIY who dont value their time. Labor makes up 60% of the total cost of construction on the buildings i work on. And it aint getting cheaper
