Looking to see if anyone else has had this problem. Can't find anything in the search results.

My electronic locks don't work at all. I am able to push the unlock button on my remote and it will beep twice but not unlock the truck. Won't beep if I push lock.

The button inside the truck on the door doesn't even do anything. Have to literally physically slide the lock on each door to lock it up.

Any one know which fuse might be used for this system?

Do they work with the rocker switch? I don't believe they are fused. The BCM controls the outputs

No the lock/unlock button on the drivers door doesn't even do anything. That's why I'm trying to figure out if there is a fuse. My next attempt will be to check every fuse

    What exactly is the BCM?

BCM is the body control module. Basically the main computer for most of the interior components. It's actually part of the fuse box. Check all the fuses and if nothing is bad then call the dealer. Anything else not work?

Did you make any modifications to the vehicle? Such as LED lights or anything else?

I have added a few lights but how would lights be linked with locks? Still haven't been able to locate a bad fuse. Sucks because I'm on a road trip. Luckily just made my 10k service appointment for Thursday.

Reason why I am asking is. If the BCM is in fact controlling the power door locks and a modification was done to the truck it could be a cause effect situation.

    A little update.

So I had a canopy installed about two months ago and they did an absolutely horrible job installing the wire run for the power lock on the canopy window. They used a total of 2 zips ties which allowed the wire to move around and melted on my exhaust pipe. If that didn't do it then it could also be where they ran the wire into the cab through the firewall. Instead of going through the ports made for doing such a thing. They ran it between the metal and gasket. It has about 3+ inches of striped and exposed wire.

Hoping to get power back to my locks this week when I take it in. Hoping a fuse blew and protected the system like it should be designed to do. Just haven't been able to figure out where the fuse is that is for power locks.

I was able to locate the fuse under the drivers dash right next to the OBD plug. My locks are now working. This is basically the canopy place's fault (Canopy World in Tacoma) for having lazy techs who used 2 zip ties to run that wire the length of my truck.

These pictures are from another post I found. It was the fuse 2 down from the arrow.

yup that would be a good reason for your troubles. I figured it was something that was added to the vehicle. Too bad you got a shitty installer. Glad you got it figured out.

Thought I would contribute my solution that worked.

My lock from the fob would not work and the door lock switch button also did not lock the locks. Now here is the other symptom, when you manually lock all the doors, the fob will blink when clicking the LOCK, then unlock won't blink from the fob or unlock the locks.

Culprit was a 20 AMP FUSE

Fuse buss under the driver's side. Look for "D/L" must stand for Door Lock 20A.

I installed a new fuse and no problems so far and working fine again. To be determined what cause the fuse to blow. I recently had accident damage repairs in front of the vehicle is the only thing that's changed in the last year.

Dang it. Still blowing fuses. Seems to be when the truck gets wet or after car wash. Any ideas to anyone where I should look for this short? Does any of the door lock wiring run under the truck. I don't have a canopy like the OP.
