Negative ghostrider. It is possible to fit 33's and get aligned without needing aftermarket upper control arms.

Nothing wrong with that if that’s your goal. Looks like everything that you can’t see while walking by is stock.

He never said he could make them. Only suggested they are overpriced. It’s just an option nothing to get your panties all twisted over. You can still get your pretty control arms for you instagram likes if you want nobody is stopping you.

    Maybe.

But truth be told, 89.47% of these special UCAs aren't needed, because the owner doesn't 'need' any lift to function as they use the truck, and if some lift is functionally required, it can usually be small enough not to require UCAs. Leaving the remaining 10.63% to actually need to pay to play.

    Now then.

Go to your dealership and price a new Tacoma. Or most any other popular vehicle. Or any popular used vehicle in reasonable condition.

There you will find a good demonstration of price gouging. Or as the Economics grads prefer, supply vs demand.

When the next hurricane passes through, you will be able to find more examples in the world of chain saw sales, generator sales and roof repairs.

Isn’t the factory UCA just stamped steel? This isn’t an aerospace quality precision part.

This thread has made my day.

but for real do, why don’t Dey go fo bout tree-fiddy

The reason UCA cost what they cost is because people will pay what they pay. If they were too expensive, no one would buy, business would flop or have to cut MSRP.

Ridgelines do not need aftermarket upper control arms. I doubt if anyone even makes them.

harbor fright is making truck parts now? As long as the warranty is no questions asked lifetime, they can’t be any worse than the SPC junk that rolls off the line.

Well there you go, not much other reason to get them than to clear coils at droop, if that. So people complaining about an expensive item that isn’t necessary unless you run 34-35’s.
