    Hey folks,

As the title suggests, will sticking the 245/75r16 tires that came on my SR onto a 16x8in wheel be a idea?

I've seen lots of folks with 265's and 275's on 8in wheels but I have yet to come across someone doing this with 245's. The main reason I want to do this is because I'm looking to get rid of my steelies but would like to keep the stock tires for a little while longer.

Last tire spec I checked for 245/75/16 it was recommended between 6.5 and 8, you should be fine.

Thank you, where's a good place to reference for tire and wheel info like that?

I just bought a 22 Tacoma SR and was wondering the same thing. Thanks for posting.
