    Hey!

So I've had my 2020 Tacoma TRD Offroad for about 2 years now and I think I'm ready to upgrade the suspension, wheels, and tires. I'm very new to the modification world and thought I'd reach out to the forums for recommendations.

The Tacoma is currently my daily driver but I do plan on taking it out more on the weekends. I don't think I'll be crawling over boulders but I’m just looking for something that can handle different terrain like fire roads, snow, and driving on the beach. Do any of you have any recommendations on a suspension that is capable but not overkill for my needs?

A local specialty shop recommended Toytec's Boss 2.0 suspension lift kit and reading around this forum many have praised Icon's Stage 2 lift. Just wanted to see if anyone else would recommend or second any recommendations.

    Thanks!

The stock suspension sounds perfect for you. Nothing you described is outside the comfort zone of a trd off-road. Get out there and drive it. That’s the best way to figure out what you need/want. If you are still not convinced, start with a tire upgrade.

    Check with HotshotOffroad.com / @memario1214 .

He set me up with 5100s in front reusing the stock coils, 5125s in the rear with Icon RXT packs. On Option 1 with 1.5in of lift, I could not be happier.
