Yea it was hard and stressful to let the cars go.
As long as the blower runs straight during use don’t worry about it. If your fighting with it, then
It’s going to tire you out..

Nice pictures. Where did you pick up the bags in that great shape?

Do you have a coal chute in your home? I hope the cost of fuel oil comes down before you have to fill up again.

Rained again last night. Good for the rose bushes we planted last week but bad for getting outside work completed. Going out to dinner with live music again tonight.

Let's see, in the update mode..........

    Might snow next week. What???
    Garden Club meeting this AM
Weed whacked most of the property yesterday (mowed Thursday) and boy am I sore! Taking a couple days off from hauling dirt.
Removed the passenger under seat front fire extinguisher mount in the Taco. I got tired of my wife griping about it bugging her feet ankles. More mental than actual physical contact.
And beam pockets all ready! Monday, rental lift arrives.

Would NOT surprise me, all the garbage promises.

Last encounter, 6 days, 14 different support people (NOT making this up, I logged it) - they finally gave - the download, Self Employed - version to me for free (which was OK) - the problem is their site or my account or something had issues and would not take any of our credit cards. The level of incompetency rises well above the usual American standard. Finally one lady flipped a switch and it was fixed.

Yeah so yesterday I paid the IRS an additional $2008............that's a hemorrhoid of a different ghost pepper mother.

    Morning all:

No coal chute in the house, the coal bin is outside and attached to the garage.
I'm hoping the price comes down, but I have a feeling that it's not going to be near where it was in the fall even if it does, will see! I had mentioned seeing an oil truck delivering at a home when the price was at its's highest, sure glad I didn't need a fill up around that time!

Got a call last night, the FP insert installer wanted to do the chimney part today. So here we go.

Good weekend to everyone, been catching up. Some great projects going on, weather is mental right now (usual spring) so it won't be until next month I'll finally get to dig into my own projects.
Taco is going to get some minor body work, maybe a paint job. After 20 years it's overdue!

It doesn't roll perfectly straight but I think I can deal with it. I used it with a bent axle for years so minor wheel bend shouldn't be to bad.

At least the wheel isn't hitting the frame.

Once I get the shed up I'm going to get a 2 stage snowblower.

Did you work on any snowblower this season? Still waiting for you to build a high performance snowblower.

This body style Camaro always appealed to me. I always like black, because they shine like a diamond when detailed right. But, black on a 70's Camaro hide the body lines.

Red (ish) colors are nice on Camaros.

Yea I worked on my fill. A few mowers also. Not sure of hi performance blower.
Have lots of ideas for projects including a extended frame mini bike with a 250cc 6speed motorcycle engine for 1/8 mile drag racing. But lots of stuff unanswered this year for other things. My main enjoyment is fishing and VRG racing. If I had a insulated garage and heat that would be a game changer. LOL

plus I have carbs to overhaul

Picked up a 2 1/2 Ton Harbor Freight aluminum (& steel) racing floor jack Thursday, first floor jack Ive ever owned. Tried it out and it lifted the front end of my Tacoma with ease. Had a 25% off coupon and couldn’t resist, Ive always wanted one. Have some high quality Esco jack stands on the way and got some nice rubber wheel chocks as well.
946427C8-E3CA-46E9-8C80-CC97274059C0.jpgHauled off the dishwasher with a bad motor today (truck stuff!), fortunately had a 5 year extended warranty and it was about 5 1/2 years old but that extended warranty started after the manufacturers warranty ended so it was covered. A replacement motor had a 6 week lead time according to Lowes and my wife talked to the repairman who said call Lowes and push for a replacement. Sure enough she worked her magic and got a full refund at the price we paid for it so bought another and had it installed. Lowes Hardware has always been good with warranties and with appliances these days it pays to buy it.

I've had a more than a few incidents with large dogs when trying to access a customers' property. Neighbor got rid of his, says he can't find an insurance company that will cover him if he has a dog.

Many years ago I figured out dogs don't like that crackling noise a stun gun makes. Don't have to aim it, make contact, or even get close. Just tap it once or twice, the dog will back off, and I can continue on. I keep it in my back pocket, in case they forget. I remind them anyway if they get within 10'.
