My Tacoma has been using 1.25” spacers for about two years now. This weekend I finally installed the new rims which have a -12mm offset which I like because I went to a 285/75/17 as well… clearance is no problem buuuut they poke a bit too much for me. Looks great in the front but the rears look like they stick out further than the fronts. It’s always looked that way even from day one. I want to keep the 1.25” up front but thinking of dropping to 0.75” for rear tires… what are everyone’s thoughts on using different spacers front to rear?586DF468-C8AD-4C67-84C4-D2692527D1AB.jpgBBE2412A-41D3-4BE5-A443-660B4B2603FA.jpg2D4B9A15-91EA-4B46-91D8-FD4D524D7859.jpg

I am thinking of doing the same thing depending on how my new tires fit with the UCAs. I figure with a 2 inch lift the front track is narrower by about 1/2 inch. So I might install 3/4 spacers up front and a 1/4 in the rear.

No issues, typically you want a wider track width in the front. I'm about 1.5" wider up front.
