    Just getting started.
Finally finished a Christmas bottle of Makers Mark given to me by my niece. Also enjoyed a dram of Log Still from Kentucky that I picked up from the distillery last summer.

Snagged TWO bottles of Eagle Rare this afternoon for under $40/each. Left one bottle behind for the next lucky fellow. Now I’m going to polish off the bottle I’ve been nursing since there are replacements in the cabinet!

Had some friends over for a BBQ. He brought a jerk chicken and I made Korean pork loin (trying to replicate my fiancé's mother's recipe), along with grilled asparagus, peppers, squash and more. I had both my Weber 26" and 22" full and cooking. Also, of course, drinks were flowing. My friend brought the Kilkerran and I opened the Taketsuru, which we had while grilling. During dinner, we had some Beaujolais wine. My head will not be happy with me in the morning!

Wife scored Blanton's for $80 at our local Albertsons! Haven't seen a bottle for under $180 at the liquor stores

Liquor stores are selling them for $180? I thought that was just the secondary market. Jeez.

No state controlled liquor here in CA, stores can charge whatever they want. Another store has Weller Special Reserve for $100

I just bought Blanton’s on the local Marine Corps base for $56.99, no tax.

Although I probably won’t be able to find it again for years.

That's awesome, great price! Even here at Vandenberg Space Force Base they have Blanton's listed for $150!

Wow. I’ve seen it at both USMC and USCG installations for the $56.99 price. I wonder what’s so different about USAF PX.
