Wanted trying to find "my first": 2001 Tacoma double cab w/ SC located in south bay region, bay area

my first car, saved for a long time to finally afford a brand new 2001 Tacoma, limited double cab. Added the TRD supercharger at the dealer and it was the best option i could have ever added to it. Also added custom rims which made it perfect IMHO. I had to sell it 2012 and missed her ever since.
I bought the carfax report and it showed the taco is still in the south bay. Last had smog done in Palo Alto in Jan 2021.

hoping someone here may recognize it as there isn't another double cab, silver, supercharged Taco with these rims on the planet.

If you happen to have seen it or know the owner pls have them contact me. When/if they ever sell it, i'd like the opportunity to bring her home.

you can send a form to the DMV asking for exactly this, basically they will send a letter to the owner and ask if its ok to share their info with you. I tried and got nothing helpful back but worth a shot! its like $5 or something

 

@BrownMike, to my understanding the DMV will not do this.
Where did you hear otherwise?

 

I called the DMV to ask the same thing, trying to find my old 65 mustang. I believe its the form below. Its not a guarantee that it will work, but worth a shot. As it was explained to me, they receive the request, notify the owner of the request, and if the owner consents you get the info

I was able to contact the DMV and they gave me a response!!!! Not the owners address but at least their name. Now I can start searching a bit more! TY!
