It's my last week at the job. We get Good Friday off so it's only a 4-day work week. Even better.

In the process of loading my tools in the back of the truck, headed to the new job around 9:00.

seriously - $10k? I am so out of touch. ...and cheap. I'd get a free hutch on Craigslist & shove some locking wheels on it.
I sure hope you can write that off on the taxes. Ouch.

 

Moved my tools and cart to the new job. I have way too many tools.

I need to buy a used toolbox from one of the tool guys quick.

Today I just threw the sockets (in their rusty metal trays) in the top of the cart, screwdrivers in a drawer, wrenches in another drawer and hammer/pry bars in the bottom.
I have to really sort through everything as I have a lot of double sockets and there are small tools that I'm missing.

I'm sure the tool guys will be happy to see me.

I have good Friday off so I'm going to see if I can go down there and get this mess sorted.

Just got back from Waterbury. Drove through some sleet on the way up there.

Four day work week and the last week at my current job.

I found a tool box at Home Depot (Husky) that I'll pickup Friday and take to the new job.
Just using a cart isn't going to cut it.

We decided to redo our “master bath”. Gutted most of it last weekend, finished the gut job yesterday. New electric work got done last Wednesday and the plumbing is getting rough-in’d today.

Cant wait for a nice bathroom. We completely redid the other one by ourselves when we first moved in. Now with kiddos, we decided to sub out things like plumbing, electric, and the tile work.

 

Actually had some "drying" weather today.
1st coat of black on the new tank.
Primered it the last time it was warm out.
2 more coats of black to go.
So maybe, I can do the job in a couple of weeks, lol.

 

A bath redo yields so much satisfaction. But wow, it's the hardest job...so little room to work. It's like building a ship in a bottle and having to climb into the bottle.

Hey Mike, give me a place in Canton for dinner on our way home from Lime Rock. We used to do Chatterley's in New Hartford...burnt to the ground. Then Grey Area Tavern on RT 44...closed. And ideas for late on a Saturday afternoon?

 

Mike don’t give him a place you really like to eat though; seems like Dennis is closing down every place he eats at

 

My favorite place is Abagails, in Simsbury. But if your going through New Hartford, Id highly recommend Parrott Delaney tavern. Its in the old Ovation guitar factory in New Hartford. Been there a bunch, had our rehearsal dinner there and havent been disappointed.
