    So,

I got a slow leak on my passenger rear tire--down to 23 psi two days after being filled to 33 psi after an off-road trip with my on-board ARB air compressor. I have the stock Goodyear Wrangler 265/70/R16 tires on my 2020 DCLB OR.

No problem, I thought. I was at home so I just got my spare from under the bed. Only problem was it was only 18psi, instead of the spec'd. 30 psi. I had never checked the spare's pressure in the two years I have had this Taco, even though I was deflating/re-inflating the other four every time I was off-road. Would have been a real PITA if I had to change this away from home or if I didn't have on-board air to re-fill it. 18PSI is not really safe for highway speeds. Wouldn't want to take that to more than about 25mph.

Moral of the story CHECK THE PRESSURE IN YOUR SPARE TIRE even though it is something of a pain to lower it from underneath the bed.

Pic below is the spare mounted.
