    Quick update. FINALLY Got the correct bumper in. It appears the original main bumper assembly was made correctly... it just came with incorrectly sized swingouts (exactly like myself and the shop told CBI back in December). Everything is out for power coat and should it be all final installed soon. This turned out to be an 18-month ordeal. Not gonna play that game again. I will source other items going forward. CBI was not too interested in expediting any fix either and just gave the ho-hum "send it back... and we'll send you a new one if we get around to it..." type answer.

    Well, just skimmed through this thread and as badly as I like the CBI dakar hybrid bumper, I'll be looking elsewhere.:(
