Because the pics posted here have been found on Craigslist where folks are trying to sell your truck for you. Not to mention other online sales places too. Helps protect our identity to our trucks. I may be wrong but that is what I have gathered from being on here about the cover your tag issue.

Now that's funny. My wife sold me this truck. I told her whatever I bought had to have a 6ft bed or longer. I was also looking at a new Tundra (Holy truck payment!). They had a 19 trd pro and this 17 sport at my wife's dealership. The pro had a 5 ft bed and 40k miles. The 17 had 17k miles. The sport was $5000 cheaper. I was all about the 6ft bed and always will be. Toyota told me *up to a year* to order a new one with a 6ft bed when I started searching. Now I can lay my 1 piece fishing poles and carry my coolers in the bed and not make the cab smell like fish. Also: trail limo.

And now my kids won't stop bugging me to ride in the truck bed as well. I told them only if we are off road on a very bumpy road or trail, they did not like that. I offered them all motorcycle helmets.

 

Installed Seat jackers on the passenger side yesterday as the wife said the seat was to flat. i agree but it didn't bother me , her legs are short also., I'm to tall to notice.

 

What brand/type of molle panel are you running if I may ask?

 

Why wouldn't you just buy a sticker to cover the chrome, i did , i first took a paint pen and painted the chrome black , then stuck a carbon fiber sticker over the opening.

i did actually buy a sticker for it awhile ago but didn't like it, so i decided to powder coat the lock instead...

I have one that works for me, but you won't like it. I ignore it. As long as it doesn't reflect the sun in to my eyes...

 

Beer caps with double sided tape

 

That only works on the knobs, not the push buttons.
