Right. And if I'm looking at it right, when comparing the the fully extended length of the old and new shock (when bolted on) with the truck in the air, I should have an additional 4.5" of down travel (flex).

Welp, sitting at motorcycle dealer. Actually I am now trapped thanks to a semi.

I think the Kayo is a no. I was looking at one of their 230cc models. I am too fat and tall for it. I sat on it and promptly bottomed out the rear shock. It does have preload adjustment, but I won't hope.

They have a couple of 250cc models, but the prices start to move into an area where it'd make sense to find a CR250F and call it a day. Unfortunately, there's nothing used close by. And nothing new for that matter. Meh.

So much for doing the wiring mods on the Taco this past weekend! I finished up some stump and drainage projects at my my brother and father in laws places the last two weekends and my FiL helped me do some testing on the fuel sending unit and the fuel gauge (gauge has not worked since we got it last May...). Now I'm considering tapping in to the exterior lighting and mounting my little puddle pods on the sides of little thing!
    20220409_185029.jpg
All those connectors on the right of the picture are for things that won't be used, but it's wired in...so of course my brain is trying to figure out if I can use the existing wiring and connectors to tie in a switch to cut on/off the backup alarm (vs. having the fuse pulled and using the horn when backing off trailer or backing up on public roads/around people)!

I have gained an appreciation for the wiring schematics and the imprinted wire serial numbering they've utilized!

You sure it isn't needed (to come play) on the 23rd :turtleride:?!?!

Yea, I got a path marked yesterday and am going to cut some of the bigger trees over the week. You guys are required to come to “Chris’ forced labor camp of smiles” to help cut and move stuff. One lucky indentured worker will get to test their vehicle on a brand new section of trial!!

It was a sad day of realizing mutual responsibility and Virginia's fun ways...everyone tells me to do the boiling water treatment, but honestly knowing the car is going to be driven into the ground (and now again) it didn't matter...plus I didn't have a good small business to support:hattip:
