    Hi All,
Finally made my dream come true, mined gold with a rock solid frame (stock photo):
    IMG-5937.jpg
Already started the resto process (Bilstein 4600's, balljoints, brakes, rust prevention). I've loved these trucks for years, owned an 01' a few years ago and finally found this pure gem with a five speed, 4 cyl, and concrete frame. I'm pulling the bed this summer to go through and make sure all the things are taken care of rust-wise.

Goals are to have a utilitarian truck, also used for plowing in the winter. 185k on the clock, and still running strong.

Plowing with most Tacomas, much less a 4 cyl., would seem to be limited to pretty light loads..... both the type of blade and amount of material pushed.

Are they really good for that?

    Ummmm...yes. Yes they are.

There was once a rumor that someone killed a Tacoma. The source of the rumor was dragged into the street, tied to a lightpost and lit on fire. Tacoma's are world renowned to kill their owners, entry level knowledge.
