4th Toyota, First Tacoma!

Hi everyone,

I'm new to the Tacoma world but ive been lurking on the forum for the last year. In my past I've owned a 2002 highlander (first car) and a 2013 RX 350. Both have been sold but I currently have a 2015 RC-F that's a garage queen and I just bought a 2011 Taco TRD Offroad Double Cab 4x4.
The truck has cosmetic issues but mechanical is great even with it's 220k + miles. It's the color and spec I wanted and I'm already deep into the rabbit hole of mods. First thing I did was had my mechanic change all fluids, belts, spark plugs. And I've swapped the suspension to new 3rd gen TRD off road take offs. I also just picked up Summit Offroad wheels and 285/70/17 dura tracs. I'm trying to swap all the chrome on the truck to factory color parts and pick up some Alpha Rex headlights but first is a real offroad lift like kings or fox 2.5s with some sliders. I'm also eyeing a c4 fab hybrid front bumper.
I'm new to off-roading but not to vehicles or motorsports. I do most of my own mechanic work on my driveway and I used to drive Angeles Crest, Azusa or Malibu weekly. With an occasional track event when time permitted. Fell free to send over free advice or let me know of local events. I'm located in San Fernando Valley, CA but just went to a big meet in Anaheim called OC Yota Nights. P.s. the truck is the new daily but the goal is off-roading and enjoying it!
