Hey everyone — while doing some wiring, I believe I blew some fuse that illuminates some of the switches in the center console of the dash, under the AC vents.

anyone know which fuse I need to check? Or any other direction I need to look?
I’ve done some searching but couldn’t find a busted fuse.

panel it was — the fuse was not melted but boy, it might as well have been!

Can I ask you… for some reason with my newest ch4x4 dual switch, it stays illuminated when truck is on (fuse powered red line to an IGN source), I have the yellow (supposed to be light circuit) connected to light circuit. well now ALL of my switches are illuminated without my headlights on — what the hell is this switch pumping power into the the rest of the circuit ?

With that statement, I'd say yes.
You're going to have to verify the wires and your fused source. Sometimes the info on the switch doesn't correlate. For the switches to be always ON means the fused source is NOT ignition and it's juicing everything in the same circuit. (Panel illumination)

okay, so I untapped the yellow from lighting circuit and now my switch is not affecting the other switch illumination (why is it outputting through the yellow like that?)

With the overbuilt diagrams you sent… I’m assuming what that does is it would correct this switch? Make it so it only illuminates my dual switch when headlights on and then hopefully not pump more into the rest of the circuit?

    Maybe a faulty switch.
It's a way of installing the dual switch without cutting any OEM wires.

Do you have a multimeter? You could verify the wires and internal trace (when set to ON and then OFF).

okay, that’s helpful — thank you

I do not have a multimeter but really probably should own one. Maybe I’ll scoop one up this weekend!
