Relentless Fab hybrid bumper, 2.5” Dobinsons IMS lift, RCI skids and sliders, block heater. Painted FJ Steelies. Was trying to keep it stock, now slowly building for the Wisconsin trails.
I will volunteer as another beer drinker/advice giver. :D Seriously tho if you pull it apart and find the shaft is scored as you fear, just put it back together until you get a new CV. Then install the bushing along with the new CV. I'm believe the CV shaft is hardened since it runs right on the rollers of the needle bearing. I would expect the needle bearing would have to be badly damaged in order to really score the shaft.

You may find some discoloration or burned on lubricant on the shaft that can be removed with fine emery cloth.

The wife and I were up there about 5 years ago. Seen all the waterfalls. Went to Lake of the Clouds. Stayed at cabin out side of Ontonagon

Lol!!! I wish I didn't work! I work 12 hour days so it ends up being about 15 days of work out of every month as long as there is no overtime. Gives me lots of time to spend going on adventures in nature (of which I am madly in love with.)

Has anyone heard of the company Freedom Retrofits? I'm looking to spend way too much money on headlights and they popped up. The make a very interesting looking headlight out of the OEM ones, but add a Baja Designs S1 in them. You can also have the projector upgraded if you desire. It looks like there shop is located in Kenosha. A picture of the headlights are below.

And what exactly is it that you do, Mr. Dangerfield?

Diode Dynamics have new projector lights coming out very soon, spend your coin there lol

If it's anything like the 4th gen, CV axles are a super easy job.

Let me know when you're doing the ECGS bushing. I'm pretty good at standing and drinking beer. And, I can even hand you tools while you're laying on the concrete. :)

I’m pretty good at setting tools down and losing them if anyone needs assistance with that

Hmm? I've had this profile picture for nearly a month... :D

    You're a what now?

Had a buddy running the prototypes for a while (they're based here in St Louis) but I'll be sure to post updates in here whenever they go public with the specs and photos etc.

I will tell you this... I had some top-notch morimotos in a cart ready to go and when he showed me what was going on with the diode headlights that are coming out... I canceled that order. The diode lights are that good.

I'm even semi qualified to do that.
Ask for a beer, you might get a left handed screwdriver.

Ooohh, I wish there was money in this field! I'm awesome at this as well!

I mean, I'm left handed, so basically I can't lose here!
