    1/8 minimum for sure. I have seen both 1/8 and 1/4 used.

    Yup.....the suspension was completely rotted and the piece will be used to join the 2 sides together. I am getting the 3500lb HD with 4 inch lift and made for offroad tires.

    I have not tried those types of discs yet, but I just ordered up a few. The weather is getting more conducive to working in the garage/driveway and I'll be back at it after this weekend I think. Thanks for the tip.
