The power from my relay project box is 12V@ 5A. It draws power from the 12V circuit that goes to the centre console.

Consider rust to be your patina, it adds character and decreases value for thief’s to steal

then yeah, just check the input of the actual control solenoid/box that directly controls the winch.
if it takes a 12V signal, then go right ahead and wire that directly (put a fuse or 10 just incase)

ah yes, the sexiest of rim paints
Stone wash/ Stone hammered finishes are the best, add a little rust/ copper dusting on accents and it instantly values your rims up by 200% according to CSGO.

I went a similar route with my Foxes, colour is called Salt Bleach Rust Dusted Red.

I would go as far as saying DO NOT USE LATCHING RELAYS FOR THE WINCH! This does not allow a fail safe condition if a connection breaks. Lots can go wrong (death) if you can't stop the winch.

Wiring direct to the pendant contacts like this is the way to go. Could all be momentary switches, extra relays shouldn't be needed.

Right but I think the PCB I designed I could exchange the latching relays with momentary relays. Going to do some investigating for testing.

If non latching relays can be subbed and the winch controls are on the N.O. contacts then no real issue.

Anyone know of any truck friendly trails near Petawawa? Closest I've heard about is Calabogie

Lots of great trails starting near Chalk River. One example is James Lake Rd starting a Bronson Rd outside of Chalk River. James Lake Rd is a neat single lane road/ trail. It's quite long and will take you to a pipeline trail. Follow the pipeline trail north west.

Anybody in the Hamilton area has any recommendations as to where to buy rims/tires? Right now I'm thinking 4WheelParts, but before I pull the trigger I figure I'd ask here.
I assume they can get the TPMS as well?

    Question:
    Dewalt 12v vs Milwaukee M12
My concern is opinions after prolonged use.
Anyone want to share their thoughts?

Any tool specifically you looking at getting? I have mostly Milwaukee 18v which I use daily but also have a few 12v and have no issues with them.

Just in general, if I start buying batteries will need to stick to the brand. I have alot of the old Dewalt 18v but they are heavy and worse for wear.
Have milwaukee 18v impacts and hammers but wanted to get lighter weight tools.
