finding temporary furnished housing in Everett, WA

Hi y'all,

I work as a travel RN and have been having one hell of a time finding housing for me and my roommate while we've been on assignment here. We've had some issues with finding housing in the past in other areas we've worked but never as bad as it is here.

We are ok with up to $3300/month for a 2 BR w/ kitchen, W&D, but we're just not finding hardly any options and on top of that we've paid application fees a few times only to have the place rent out to someone else an hour or so after taking our application money.

I promise we're lovely folks who just mind their own business, if anyone could give any suggestions or pointers to help we'd be grateful. We've been hitting up Furnished Finder, Craigslist, VRBO, Airbnb, Apartments.com, and Zillow.

Check with with the nurses at wherever you are working, they often have good resources for finding places. Also check on facebook for Everett, Marysville, Lake Stevens etc. Some of where to look depends on whether you are going to work IN Everett or commute FROM there...
